Huawei AD23,8HW 80-inch monitor rendering showcases borderless design

Last month we reported that Huawei plans to release consumer desktops and monitors. The leak has now revealed renders of one of the monitors along with some key details.

In fact, Huawei has reduced the bezel on three sides, excluding the bottom, which has the manufacturer's name on it. The monitor stands on a metal stand with a cylindrical base and a flat base.

Model number AD80HW is equipped with a 23,8-inch FHD IPS LCD with a 90% screen-to-body ratio and 178 ° viewing angle. It has 72% NTSC color gamut and is capable of displaying 16,7 million colors. It is also TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light levels.

There is also an image showing the back of the display with a gray matte surface. There are multiple ports on the back including one HDMI port.

The source says the monitor will be transferred to ODM (original design manufacturer), BOE Video Technology Co. Ltd, which is a subsidiary of the BOE Technology Group. Huawei will also offer curved screen monitors, which will be manufactured by TPV Technology and will be available in 27-inch and 34-inch versions.

New monitors should be announced by the end of the year.
