Youpin store funds HiPee Dynamic ECG Recorder for $ 73

HiPee, one of the companies in the ecosystem Xiaomi, introduced a new health monitoring gadget. HiPee Dynamic ECG Recorder, as it is also called, provides XNUMX/XNUMX heart rate monitoring and sends the data to a connected phone.

HiPee Dynamic ECG Recorder

This is not HiPee's first ECG tool as it announced the HiPee Smart ECG Wizard last year. The new dynamic ECG recorder is attached to the chest, just above the heart, with a disposable electrode. Male users should position it at a 45° angle to their chest and female users should position it at a 30° angle to their chest. The HiPee Dynamic ECG Recorder then pairs with the user's phone.

The recorder not only measures heart rate, but also provides real-time medical grade ECG monitoring with professional report. According to the manufacturer, it can detect up to 24 different types of heart problems. If it detects an irregular heartbeat, it notifies the user along with a message to see a doctor. The app also shows other data, including the device's battery level, so you know when it needs to be recharged.

Another feature of the application is support for family sharing. This means that up to two participants can access device data from their own devices. This is useful if the user is an elderly parent. The app will also notify selected family members when a problem is detected.

The device comes in a storage box that can also be used as a charger. The box charges via USB-C and comes with a cable. HiPee claims that it takes three hours to charge the device, and a full charge should provide 24 hours of use. The ECG recorder is IPX7 rated so you don't need to take it off when swimming or showering. It weighs 8,9 grams and is 6,2 millimeters thick. There are five disposable electrodes in the box.

HiPee Dynamic ECG Recorder is for sale in Youpin store for crowdfunding for $73, but will sell for $132 after launch. Owners will be able to purchase additional electrodes, but there is no word on pricing yet. It is expected that the supply of the monitor will begin before the end of October.
