Samsung Galaxy M31 gets One UI Core 2.1 update with September security patch

Nevertheless, Galaxy M31 launched with One UI Core 2.0 based on Android 10 earlier this year. Now, months after its release, it is receiving the One UI Core 2.1 update with the September 2020 security patch.

According to the official changelog, the name of the night mode has been changed to dark mode with improved images, text and color, as well as dimmed wallpapers, widgets and alarms. The update also brings clearer app icons and system colors with improved layouts for tiles and buttons.

In addition, it also adds new navigation gestures, one-handed operation, a more detailed graph of battery information under Device Care, Digital Wellbeing, and a contact basket feature.
