Redmi India promises new wired headphones on September 2

It's not news that Redmi и Realme Are close rivals in the smartphone industry. Almost a week ago, Realme announced a pair of wired earbuds in India called the Realme Buds Classic. Now Redmi India has released a teaser hinting at the launch of its own wired headphones.

The 23-second video was tweeted today with the hashtag #WiredForEverything. In the video, we can make out the outlines of the headphones and the 3,5 mm jack, which is located at a 90 ° angle.

The earbuds have silicone tips that should provide passive noise cancellation, unlike the Realme Buds Classic, which has an open design like the Apple EarPods. The video also hints that the new headphones will arrive in red and blue when they arrive on Wednesday, September 2.

Ishan Agarwal, a teenage Indian leader, also provided more details on the headphones. The headphones will be marketed as Redmi Earphones, he said. He also adds that the headphones will be Hi-Res Audio certified with 10mm drivers. It will also have a metal body and will be quite lightweight.

No pricing information yet, but Redmi will want to match the price of the Realme Buds Classic with 14,2mm drivers and Rs 399 (~ $ 5,46). They could also save the Rs 399 price tag for the Mi Earphones Basic, which were announced back in 2018 but are now listed as missing on the Mi India website.
