Microsoft Surface Duo hits FCC, may launch earlier than expected

Mircosoft Surface Duo is one of the most anticipated devices of 2020. The Redmond company [19459002] first demonstrated it in October 2019. It is expected to release sometime during this year's holiday season. Since its initial introduction, the product has been officially teased on numerous occasions, in addition to being spotted with certification bureaus. The dual-screen device now appears on the FCC, which is usually considered the last hurdle before launch.

According to previous leaks, the first Android device in the Surface lineup will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It will detect two 5,6-inch AMOLED displays with 1800 × 1350 resolution with 401 ppi and 4: 3 aspect ratio.

Other features include a single 11MP camera, fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port, nano SIM card slot, Surface Pen support, Android 10 and a 3460 mAh battery.
