A couple of days ago, official reports from Honor and AMD on Weibo teased the collaboration between the two companies. We have reported that this is the first teaser for Honor gaming laptops. Unfortunately this is not the case as the sub-brand Huawei scheduled an event for July 16th to announce the new MagicBook Ryzen Edition series
Honor recently released MagicBook Pro 2020 models with 10th Gen Intel processors paired with MX350 GPU. We believe that the coming AMD Ryzen-equipped MagicBooks can also have similar designs and identical features.
Although Honor started teasing new models before launching them, at the moment, it only showed that they come with 65W fast charge support. The brand claims that these future Rzyen Edition laptops will be able to charge about 50% in 30 minutes.
However, the brand has yet to reveal other features for its next laptop models. Anyway, according to the early announcement, these models will be part of the thin and light Honor notebook models. Hence, they are likely to be equipped with Ryzen U-series chipsets, which are not built for gaming and demanding tasks.
As far as Honor gaming laptops are concerned, they may arrive in August according to a new leak. Huawei is also expected to introduce its own-branded gaming laptops after its sub-brand.
