Earlier today (June 9, 2020), Xiaomi founder Lei Jun announced the new Mi 10 Youth Special Edition, which is the new Ice & Snow Set Edition. The limited edition will launch later today and comes in a unique color scheme.
The senior executive announced this via his official Weibo account, a Chinese microblogging site. This special edition comes in partnership with the renowned Chinese ice cream brand Zhong Xuegao. Looking at the release of the Mi 10 Youth Ice & Snow Set, the device comes with an orange back that resembles the scent the ice cream maker sells.
Apart from the aesthetic differences, the device houses the same characteristics as the basic version. The new color is inspired by the color of peach grapefruit, and interested buyers will also receive a box of ice cream along with their smartphone. The Mi 10 Youth Youth Ice & Snow Set will be released later today and will be announced live.
