Geekbench: Honor Play4 Pro features Kirin 990 and 8 GB of RAM

Honor will announce the release of its Honor Play4 smartphone series tomorrow in China. The TNNH-AN00 Honor phone, which appeared on TENAA the previous month, is the Honor Play4 5G smartphone. The OXP-AN00, which has been spotted on the TENAA, 3C and Wi-Fi Alliance certification platforms, is considered the Play4 Pro 5G smartphone. Today, the smartphone appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform to reveal some of its key details.

Geekbench: Honor Play4 Pro

On Geekbench, the Honor Play4 Pro 5G scored 751 points in the single-core test and 2773 points in the multi-core test. The smartphone is equipped with an eight-core Kirin chipset with a base frequency of 1,86 GHz.

Huawei has released the Kirin 990 chipset in two versions. The Kirin 990 5G chipset, which comes with an integrated 5G modem, has a base frequency of 1,95 GHz. However, another option without a built-in 5G modem debuted as the Kirin 990. It has a base frequency of 1,86 GHz. Based on the Geekbench list, it can be assumed that the Honor Play4 Pro 5G could show this Kirin 990.

The Geekbench Honor Play4 Pro 5G list says it has 8 GB of RAM. The phone is loaded with Android 10. Honor's Magic user interface will be superimposed on the Android OS.

The aforementioned poster released by Honor shows that the Honor Play4 series will appear with support for 40W fast charging. A leak in the Play4 Pro specs revealed that it will come with a 4200 mAh battery.

The Honor Play4 Pro has a 6,57-inch tablet display for dual camera selfie setup. It includes a 32 megapixel main camera and an 8 megapixel lens. The back of the device has dual camera settings. It consists of a 40-megapixel Sony IMX600Y sensor and an 8-megapixel shooter.
