Samsung brings back the bezel on the upcoming Galaxy Watch

Samsungspecializing in smart watches may lag behind Apple in order volumes, but as the second largest manufacturer of smart watches, this category is important for the company. The Korean giant has always innovated, one of which is a rotating screen, first introduced on the Gear S3. However, when the company abandoned the Gear series for the Galaxy Watch Active, the physical rotating bezel was removed.

Samsung may have plans to return the bezel to the Galaxy Watch. SamMobile cites an unnamed source that hinted that the next-generation Galaxy Watch smartwatch will have a design that includes a rotating bezel. Samsung is expected to announce its next smartwatch in the summer.

After removing the physical revolving panel, Samsung experimented with the touch panel on the Galaxy Watch Active 2. This rumor may indicate that the touch panel is not as good as the rotating one, so it was decided to return to it.

The report also rumors that new sensors will appear in the Galaxy Watch. New sensors include an ECG and a blood pressure monitor. It will also help users keep track of their health and fitness. In addition, the cardiogram function was successful with the Apple Watch, which is credited with saving the lives of some users by detecting inaccurate heartbeats.

The FCC list for the Galaxy Watch also shows that the device will be in two different sizes. One will have a 45mm screen, while the other will have 41mm. It will also be available in Wi-Fi and LTE versions, like Samsung’s past smartwatch. In addition, Samsung will also release a premium titanium version along with the standard version.

Nothing is known about its launch date, but there are suggestions that it will be launched on the same day as the Galaxy Note 20.
