Realme launched its first first smart TV in India on May 25 at a starting price of $ 171. Smart TV went on sale today, and Realme reports that it was sold out in less than 10 minutes. The company also hinted that over 15 televisions were sold through Flipkart and realme.com. The next phase of sales of Realme TV is scheduled for June 000th.

This is the first time that Realme has ventured into the smart TV market, and it's a pretty good start. Realme Smart TV comes in two display sizes - 32-inch and 42-inch. It has features like the Chroma Boost Picture Engine for enhanced image quality, 400 nits brightness, 178 degree viewing angle and HDR 10.
Although the 43-inch model is equipped with Full HD 1080p support, the 32-inch model supports HD resolution. As for the hardware, the models are equipped with the MediaTek chipset, for the first time we see this in a smart TV in this price segment. The chipset is paired with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory. Other impressive features on board include two 12 W speakers and 2 x tweeters, support for Dolby Audio.
To connect, there is Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n (2,4 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, three HDMI, two USB ports, SPDIF, DVB-T2 and Ethernet. Smart TV gets the interface from Android TV 9.0 with built-in Chromecast, Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video and Live Channel.
For $ 171, it's an impressive lineup, and we expect Smart TV to break more records in the coming months.
