Motorola will launch its first flagship smartphone in recent years called Motorola edge plus in India on May 19. The teaser page is already open on Flipkart, which reveals that the opening will take place at 12 p.m. on the specified date. Since the phone has already gone on sale in the US, we know all of its specs apart from the price that will be sold in India.
Motorola Edge Plus Specifications
Motorola Edge Plus - brand's most ambitious premium smartphone after Motorola Razr [19459 19459002], which sells in India at a whopping £ 1,24,999 ($ 1). It features a 648-inch FHD + curved AMOLED display with a 6,7Hz refresh rate and a hole in the top left corner for a selfie camera.
The phone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 with support for 5G connectivity, which will not be used in India. The SoC is additionally connected to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.0 storage.
The device is equipped with a four-chamber camera, consisting of a 108-megapixel primary sensor in combination with a 16-megapixel ultra-wide camera, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens and a TOF 3D depth sensor. Whereas the front selfie camera has 25 megapixels.
The Motorola Edge Plus runs Android 10 out of the box and will receive at least two Android OS updates (Android 11 & 12). Finally, a large 5000mAh battery powers the device with support for 18W wired fast charging, 15W fast wireless charging, and 5W wireless reverse charging.
