Honor X10 supports 90 Hz refresh rate and 180 Hz sensor sample rate

Honor ready to announce the release of the Honor X10 smartphone on May 20. While the company hasn't released any official confirmation, rumor mill says it is also announcing the Honor X10 Pro alongside the vanilla model. The Honor X10 will replace last year's Honor 9X Pro, which sports a 6,59-inch screen without notches. The Honor X10 5G TENAA roster has revealed that it will flaunt a larger display without notches compared to the previous phone. The company announced today that the X10 will support higher refresh rates and sample rates.

The poster released by the sub-brand of Huawei confirms that the display Honor X10 5G will support a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a sample rate of 180 Hz. A higher refresh rate promises better viewing quality when scrolling, animating, and transitioning than a regular 60 Hz display. A higher touch sampling rate means the screen will refresh at a faster rate to register a touch. Consequently, it looks like the Honor X10 will arrive with some gaming features.

Honor X10 90Hz refresh rate

According to yesterday's leak, the Honor X10 Pro should get a higher refresh rate of 90Hz, while the standard X10 will use a 60Hz display. But the above image mentions 90Hz for the X10, so it is possible that the leak was not entirely accurate.

Honor has yet to be confirmed on other smartphone features. Since the smartphone appeared on TENAA last month, all of its specs have been revealed. The phone is expected to debut as the cheapest 5G-ready smartphone from the company.
