LG has released the world's largest OLED TV, equipped with 88-inch 8K-display

LG recently released its largest and one of the most expensive TVs in history. The TV will be part of the LG Signature series and is a large 88-inch TV, which also has 8K resolution and will be available in June 2020.

The LG OLED 8K comes in the ZX series and will be available in two sizes, namely: an 88-inch OLED display with 8K resolution or another 8K 77-inch panel. The South Korean tech giant claims to offer sharper images thanks to a pixel density 4 times that of most 4K screens. This display is also one of the main causes of exorbitant prices.

Unfortunately, at the moment there is no real 8K content that would be available. Thus, it offers only a slight improvement in image quality compared to conventional 4K TVs. In addition, the only real difference that can be observed is a closer look at the display. The model number for the 88-inch variant is 88ZXPJA, and the 77-inch version is called 77ZXPJA. The former is priced at 3,7 million yen (approximately $ 34), while the latter will be sold for 676 million yen (approximately $ 2,5).

Among other things, the design of the LG 8K TV is also impressive. It comes in an extremely thin form factor that can even resemble an image on a wall if it is mounted on a wall. In addition, it also comes with an Artistic Sculpture Design booth and supports the LG ThinQ voice assistant. In terms of sound, premium flagship televisions are equipped with 60W front speakers, which are said to offer a more cinematic experience in your homes.

As for other functions, the 88-inch 8-inch LG OLED TV uses 3-generation AI processor technology along with HDMI 2.1 inputs (which provides 8K output at up to 120 frames per second) and other screen protection measures for an expensive TV . The user processor also improves image quality and reduces overall noise. So if you really want to do everything possible the next time you buy a TV, look no further.
