Xiaomi today unveiled a special edition of its flagship smartphone Mi 11dubbed Mi 11 Star Diamond Gift Box Edition. Like all previous special edition devices, this one too has an updated design but retains the same internal components.
It comes in the new Star Diamond packaging that covers the entire body of the smartphone with its pattern. The company also includes a Star Diamond protective case with a glittering star and diamond pattern in the box.
As for the technical characteristics, it remains the same as that of the standard model. It features a 6,81-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 3200 × 1440 pixels and a hole in the upper left corner for the front camera.
The display has an AdaptiveSync 120Hz refresh rate, which means it automatically switches between 30Hz and 120Hz refresh rates depending on the content on the screen. The screen is protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus and the curved back is covered with Gorilla Glass 5.
Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor with up to 5GB LPDDR12 RAM and 256GB internal storage. It comes with a 108MP wide-angle camera, a 13MP ultra-wide camera with a 123° field of view, and a 5MP telemacro camera. On the front side is a 20MP selfie camera.
The smartphone is running an operating system Android 11 out of the box with MIUI 12.5 on top. It is powered by a 4600mAh battery that supports 55W fast wired charging, 50W fast wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
