Earlier today (Feb 16, 2021) Vice President Xiaomi Corp and CEO Redmi Lu Weibing announced that the company will focus more on releasing a broader range of smart home products this year.
The company's senior executive made the announcement on his official Weibo account, a Chinese microblogging website. In this Weibo post, the official stated that the Chinese tech giant will put more emphasis on bringing a broader range of smart home products to market in 2021, especially in its home country of China. At the moment, the company already has a diverse range of smart home products on the market, but it looks like Xiaomi intends to expand its IoT (Internet of Things) portfolio even further this year.
In other words, the smartphone maker will launch various interconnected home appliances alongside other smart electronic products.
