Folding smartphones Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo are on schedule and will be released this year: Report

Now, a new report says other Chinese OEMs are also planning to launch their foldable phones, which will also arrive later this year.

According to the well-known source of information @ 数码 闲聊 站, Xiaomi, Oppo и Living preparing to launch a new foldable smartphone later this year. The whistleblower disclosed the information via a post on Weibo, a Chinese microblogging website, which states that all three Chinese tech giants will officially launch their new foldable phones sometime in 2021. As mentioned above, a Xiaomi smartphone with a flexible screen was spotted inside a subway in China and looked similar to the vice president of Xiaomi shown a few years ago, but this one has a larger display.

This device is likely a prototype and uses a hinge mechanism similar to the Galaxy Z Fold. It is also shown that the device is running MIUI 12 OS... Although we know the design of the Xiaomi sports prototype, it is currently unknown which design is offered by Oppo or Vivo. Although rumored to be, the Oppo foldable smartphone will also feature the same hinge mechanism as the Xiaomi prototype.
