Vivo Y75 design and specifications revealed

Living is preparing to introduce the Vivo Y75 5G later this month. This is another device joining the company's Y-series of smartphones, which are often aimed at the budget segment. According to a recent MySmartPrice report citing 91Mobiles, much of the new phone's features have been completely leaked. In addition to the key specs, we also have a few renders worth checking out. As expected, the Vivo Y75 5G will be a budget 5G smartphone with some of the most affordable 5G SoCs the industry has to offer.

Key features and design of Vivo Y75 5G

Vivo Y75 5G will feature MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. This chip is still the most affordable MediaTek SoC with 5G connectivity. It contains two ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at up to 2,2GHz and six power-efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 2,0GHz. Interestingly, the phone will have 8GB of RAM and will be assisted by Virtual RAM technology. The report also reveals some other features of this phone.

In addition to the 8GB of physical memory, the phone will have 4GB of virtual memory. To work, you will need part of the internal memory of 128 GB. Virtual RAM will bring some relief to physical RAM to keep some tasks active in the background.

In terms of optics, the Vivo Y75 5G is said to feature a triple camera on the back. It will be equipped with a main camera with a resolution of 50 MP. However, the exact purpose of the other two sensors is unknown. We can see an ultra-wide-angle snapper with a macro/depth shooter. However, since this is a budget smartphone, the setup may only include the main depth and macro sensors. Unlike other Vivo phones in the budget segment, this one has a modern selfie camera with a punch hole in the center of the display.

The Vivo Y75 5G will be powered by a 5000mAh battery that is charged using 18W fast charging. The leaked render suggests the device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. We can also expect a USB Type-C port at the bottom. In terms of software, this phone will have Android 12 right out of the box with Funtouch OS 12 running on top. The phone should be released in India in the coming days, so we expect it to appear on the company's website soon. What's more, a 6GB RAM variant is possible, aiming for a lower price.
