VIVO T1 5G will land soon in India: it looks like it's the same model as in China

We learned a month ago that VIVO will replace its Y series phones in India with the new T series. As you know, the Y line is known for its affordable smartphones with modest features. In the meantime, it turns out that the first model of this series will be called VIVO T1. Information comes to us from a well-known tipster Mukula Sharma , which has always provided reliable leaks. He also revealed that the company plans to launch the phone in India in March. Although there is no exact release date, we assume that the manufacturer will announce one in the near future. Finally, let me remind you that this is the same phone released in China last October. But let's see if there are any modifications compared to the original version.

According to the source, VIVO T1 will be available in two variants - 8 GB / 128 GB and 8 GB / 256 GB. But we have heard that there may be a version with more memory and 12 GB of RAM. Unfortunately, this is all that is known about the upcoming smartphone. But if the company does not change anything, then we know about its features.

VIVO T1 features

For example, VIVO T1 features a large 6,67-inch Full HD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Inside, our protagonist carries a Snapdragon 778G chip. As a reminder, the variant with the largest amount of memory had a configuration of 12 GB of RAM + 256 GB of storage. There is also a microSD card that could allow us to expand its storage. The relatively large capacity 5000mAh battery supports 44W fast charging.

What's more, the Indian variant of VIVO T1 will also support 5G connectivity. That's why we don't think the company will replace the processor. In addition to 5G, it should support Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. This device has a fingerprint reader located on the side. It also retained the 3,5mm audio jack.

In terms of camera, there is a 1MP selfie camera on the front of VIVO T16, which is also perfect for HD video calls. On the opposite side, we can find three camera sensors arranged vertically. The camera system includes a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens.

Finally, VIVO T1 runs OriginOS based on Android 11. It measures 164,70×76,68×8,49mm in thickness and weighs 192 grams.
