Samsung To Remove Chargers From Galaxy S21 Retail Box As Company Removes Messages Demonstrating Apple

Samsung is preparing to launch its Galaxy S21 series flagship smartphones in the coming weeks. While the company has yet to confirm a launch date, it is expected to officially announce them on January 14th.

The company is expected to remove the power adapter from the smartphone's retail box this time around. The South Korean giant has already stopped including headphones, at least in the United States, since the launch of the Galaxy Note10 line.

The company is rumored to have dropped chargers and headphones from the retail box of the upcoming Galaxy S-series flagship, but there's now a good chance that will happen given Samsung has removed social media posts mocking Apple for removing chargers from an iPhone box.

This could be a measure of savings from the South Korean giant, given that the company is competing with Chinese companies that sell premium flagship smartphones at much lower prices than Samsung and Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),.

Even after Samsung stops including chargers and earbuds in retail packaging for future smartphones, there is a chance the company could offer users the option to request them for free.

Samsung discontinued the earbuds after purchasing the Galaxy Note10 series in the US, but those who wanted earbuds could request from the company and they would ship them for free. This is likely to be the case with the upcoming premium devices.

However, in order to know exactly what the company is planning, we will have to wait for the official launch, which is expected in a few weeks. Meanwhile, the company hosted an event in the first week of January to showcase its new display technology.
