Just a day before the episode was released OnePlus 9 OnePlus announced the start of the rollout of OxygenOS 11 based on the stable version Android 11... update for their 2019 flagship phones: OnePlus 7T и OnePlus 7T Pro.
Updates that should have arrived much earlier include a redesigned interface, new features, and a February 2021 security patch. Below is the complete changelog:
System
- Upgrade to OxygenOS 11
- Fresh new visual UI design provides better user experience with various part optimizations
- Optimize the stability of some third-party applications and improve performance
- Android security update updated to 2021.02
- Updated GMS package until 2021.01
Camera
- Updated camera user interface and optimized some function paths to provide a better experience
- Newly added HEVC codec to smoothly reduce video storage size, capture and shoot more without sacrificing quality
- Newly added third party app access to share an image by pressing and holding it in preview mode
- Newly added quick access to recording mode by pressing and holding the shutter button, and by moving the button, you can easily zoom in or out
- Newly added time-lapse playback display to show actual shooting time
Ambient display
- A new style of Insight watches, created in collaboration with the Parsons Design School. It will change in accordance with the data on the use of the phone (for settings: "Settings"> "Settings"> "Clock on external display")
- Newly added canvas function that can automatically draw a wireframe based on the lock screen photo on your phone （Path: Settings - Setting - Wallpaper - Canvas - Select the preview of the photo and it can be generated automatically
Dark mode
- Added hotkey for dark mode, open quick setting to enable

Game Space
- Newly added game toolkit for easy Fnatic mode switching. Now you can choose from three notification methods: text only, heads-up and block, only for a complete immersion in the game
- Newly added small window quick reply feature for Instagram, WhatsApp and Telegram (enable it by swiping down from the top right / left corner of the screen in Game Mode)
- Newly added "wrong touch" prevention function. Turn it on, swipe down from the top of the screen, click and the notification bar appears
A shelf
- New design of the shelf interface, the interface has become clearer
- Added weather widget, improved animation
Gallery
- Support Story function, automatically generates weekly videos with photos and videos in storage
- Optimize your gallery loading speed and your image preview becomes faster
OnePlus says the update will take time as it includes many new features. He also added that the AOD feature is still in testing in open beta, so expect another update to add this feature. As usual, OTA will have a phased rollout - a limited number of users will get it today before wider rollout, if there are no critical bugs.
OnePlus has not yet released an update for OnePlus 7 и OnePlus 7 Pro.
