Rumors and leaks about the OnePlus 9 series continue to come in and are not expected to end until the phones are announced. The latest information to be circulated concerns the display OnePlus 9and it looks like its design will be familiar.
As the PocketNowThe OnePlus 9 has the same display as OnePlus 8T... The 2020 flagship features a 6,55-inch flat display with a punch-hole in the top left corner. This means the OnePlus 9 won't have a curved display like its predecessor, the OnePlus 8, but a flat display.
Some users have expressed their dissatisfaction with curved displays and we have seen some manufacturers such as Samsunghave ditched the curved display in favor of a flat display for newer models. OnePlus did the same with the OnePlus 8T and looks set to continue that trend with the OnePlus 9.
The flat display information is in line with the OnePlus 9 rendering leaked back in November 2020. The image shows that the phone has a flat display rather than a curved one. Users who like a curved display will have to choose OnePlus 9 Prowhich renders show that it has a curved screen.
The OnePlus 9 display is supposed to be an AMOLED panel and have a 120Hz refresh rate. Inside the phone should be a Snapdragon 888 processor with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The render of the phone shows that it has three rear cameras and one front camera. The leak gave us a quick look at the rear cameras and reveals that none of the sensors have a periscope lens.
There is no confirmation of the battery specs, but the leak revealed that the OnePlus 9 will support wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.
