LG and Qualcomm team up to jointly develop 5G automotive platform

It is predicted that up to three quarters (75%) of all vehicles sold in 2027 will have built-in cellular connectivity, indicating a rapidly growing need for automotive technologies such as 5G.

LG has a very warm relationship with Qualcomm. In 2004, he partnered with Qualcomm to develop telematics technologies, and in 2017 the two companies signed a partnership agreement to work together on solutions for connected cars.
