ASUS ROG Phone II will get Android 11, and new phones - Android 12

ASUS on track to become one of the fastest smartphone manufacturers delivering Android 12 updates. Some of its latest smartphones, such as the ZenFone 8 series, will receive the newer Android 12 update by next month. However, this processing may not apply to older devices such as the ASUS ROG Phone II. The device was launched in 2019 and is receiving the highly anticipated Android 11 update today. That's right, while others get Android 12, the old phone will get Android 11.

ASUS has yet to announce an update to the phone to Android 11 on its English website. However, we already know that the update is coming to Chinese units. The changelog was previously posted on the company's Chinese website, and beta testing began in late September. Today the update is being distributed to several lucky owners of the phone. The update has build number 18.0210.2111.160 and started rolling out on Tuesday. It includes all the new features introduced in Android 11.
