Refurbished 2020 MacBook Air Models 2020 years M1 processor-based have been spotted in the official Apple store in China. The laptops have been found in three different flavors, including the MacBook Air. Mac Mini and even models MacBook Pro.
According to the report iFeng, these are the first refurbished M1-based Macs available in the country. In other words, potential buyers can now find new M1-based MacBooks at a discounted price on the official Chinese site of the Cupertino giant. Compared to new units, refurbished models offer discounts of up to 15 percent across three options and are available in gold, silver and space gray, as well as in China. Earlier this week, M1-based Mac models were also listed internationally.
When you look at prices, refurbished M1-based Apple Macs were over 1000 Yuan (roughly $ 154) cheaper than newer devices. For those who don't know, refurbished products are cheaper because they can be either mildly used or originally faulty products that are returned to a company that updates them to a better condition or fixes any faults or problems. They are then repackaged and later resold at a discounted price.
In addition, Apple promises that its officially certified refurbished products have gone through rigorous processing procedures that meet the same rigorous functional testing standards as new products. In other words, they are practically new and are even offered with a one-year warranty and free shipping without any of the usual accessories found in regular packaging. Unfortunately, at the moment all M1-based models are already sold out. The models were listed this morning but can no longer be found on the website.
