Amazon, the manufacturer of Ring smart doorbells, has just released a new home surveillance camera called the Always Home Cam. The camera differs from the design of traditional surveillance cameras as it is a drone that flies inside the house.
Always Home Cam is actually a small drone with a camera installed. The maximum video resolution can reach 1080p and is compatible with Ring Alarm system. When the user is not at home, they can travel around the room and you can observe all corners of the room through mobile phones and other connected smart devices.
Its main feature is superior obstacle avoidance technology. The drone camera can avoid objects in the flight path. The propeller also has its own protective cover, which ensures that it does not snag on any household items.
User can set the flight path of Always Home Cam and the target area to be monitored. After the set flight path is completed, the Always Home camera will automatically return to the base for charging. Being in the charging base, the camera can only be controlled during flight, and the device will make inevitable noises during flight.
This camera has many uses. The camera can be used to check if the stove is off, if a window is open, or if a door is locked when the user leaves the house.
