Amazfit

Huami is planning to launch the event on March 23rd, most likely for the Amazfit T-Rex Pro.

Huami has set a launch date for March 23, and judging by the teasers, it's a new smartwatch under its Amazfit brand. The teasers hint at the launch of the highly anticipated Amazfit T-Rex Pro, which has appeared in some recent leaks.

We noticed an announcement on the official Amazfit store on AliExpress, it includes a short teaser video. Both the teaser video and the teasers below show the silhouette of a robust watch that matches the design of the Amazfit T-Rex Pro.

A leak earlier this month revealed that the Amazfit T-Rex Pro will have a 1,3-inch 360 × 360 AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass protection and an oleophobic coating. It will come with BioTracker 2 PPG sensor, 3-axis acceleration sensor, 3-axis gyroscope, altimeter and geomagnetic sensor. The watch will also support satellite navigation systems GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo.

Along with the new Biotracker 2 PPG sensor, the Amazfit T-Rex Pro will also have a higher water resistance rating of 10 ATM. The battery capacity will remain unchanged at 390mAh, but it will ship with a new RTOS (Real Time OS) based operating system. The smartwatch will be compatible with both Android and iOS devices. The smartwatch will also come in three new colors.

A leaked product page on the EU website said the Amazfit T-Rex Pro would be priced at € 169,90, while AliExpress listing listed a $ 299 placeholder price. We advise you to take these prices with a grain of salt and wait until the March 23 launch date to find out the official price. If you want to get to know the watch as early as possible, a hands-on video is already available online.
