Design

If design is one of your top priorities, ditch the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE: it has a plastic case and isn't made from high quality materials. The OnePlus 8T and Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro have a glass back and an aluminum frame, so they are more beautiful and attractive.

Among the two, I prefer the OnePlus 8T because it is thinner, lighter and has a slightly larger screen-to-body ratio. In short, it looks smoother and even more compact.

Display

The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro has the highest refresh rate ever seen on a phone (144Hz), but it's not the phone with the best display in this comparison. The OnePlus 8T and Samsung Galaxy S20 FE are actually better because they come with AMOLED panels instead of the IPS panel found on the Mi 10T Pro. Plus, they have a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10 + certification. You shouldn't notice much difference between the picture quality of the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and the OnePlus 8T, but the latter has a slightly wider bezel.

Hardware / software

The most powerful hardware department belongs to the OnePlus 8T. It runs on the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform, just like the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro, but in the most expensive variant it offers more RAM: up to 12 GB. Plus, the OnePlus 8T is the only one that runs Android 11 out of the box, configured with OxygenOS.

On the other hand, you can expect three years of software support and major Android updates with the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, so the fact that it ships with Android 10 shouldn't be a cause for concern. But the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has the worst hardware: it comes with a weaker Exynos 990 chipset and lacks 5G connectivity.

Camera

Despite the fact that the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro is equipped with a stunning 108MP main sensor, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is a more interesting camera phone not only thanks to its dual 12MP sensor, including an ultra wide lens and optical image stabilization, but especially thanks to the telephoto lens on 8MP with 3x optical zoom and 32MP selfie camera. With regular photos, you can get excellent quality with the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro (and you can even record 8K video), but there is no telephoto lens. The OnePlus 8T disappoints the most with its 48MP quad camera without a telephoto lens.

Battery

The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro has a longer battery life thanks to its larger 5000mAh battery. The OnePlus 8T has the fastest charging technology thanks to its 65W power. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has a smaller battery than Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro and slower fast charging technology, but unlike its two competitors, it supports fast wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.

Price

The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro costs € 599 / $ 700, just like the OnePlus 8T in their base variants. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G costs 669 euros / 785 dollars. Waterproof design and wireless charging are unique features for a flagship killer, but poor hardware and lack of 5G connectivity don't make the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE a device worth the money it is asking for.

The OnePlus 8T lacks these features, but comes with better hardware however, it has the worst cameras. The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro has a big battery and great cameras, as well as an awesome hardware department, but it doesn't come with an AMOLED display. Which one wins in comparison? It depends on the needs of the users: which would you choose?

I would personally ditch all of these devices and spend a little more on the 5G variant of the Galaxy S20 FE.
