Vivo Y75 5G launched with extra RAM

Living quietly developing its future flagship series Vivo X80. Until that happens, the company will focus on entry-level and mid-range smartphones in early 2022. At the moment, the company has already released about seven smartphones, including Vivo Y55 5G, Y21e and V21a. latest smartphones. Now the company adds another device called Vivo Y75 5G. The device has significant improvements over its sibling Vivo Y55 5G.

The fact is that the Vivo Y75 5G is not a brand new smartphone, but based on the Vivo Y55 5G. The device has an improved selfie camera, more RAM, and Vivo has given it a whole new name as a result. Without further ado, let's see what this phone has in store for the market.

The Vivo Y75 5G sports a 6,58-inch display, which is a common place for budget Vivo devices. This is a standard LCD display that refreshes at 60Hz. In addition, it boasts a Full HD+ resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a waterdrop notch for a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The selfie camera alone has twice the resolution of the Vivo Y55 5G. Moving on, this is yet another Dimensity 700 based smartphone.

The Dimensity 700 is probably considered one of MediaTek's best selling chipsets in the 5G range. It is very cheap and offers two ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at up to 2,2GHz, as well as six power-efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 2GHz.

The phone comes with 8GB of RAM, and with Vivo's virtual memory feature, you can increase it up to 12GB. This will take up a portion of your internal storage, which in this case is 128 GB. The device also has a micro SD card slot, which allows you to expand the memory up to 1 TB.

In terms of optics, the device is equipped with a triple camera. The largest and most convenient camera is 50-megapixel. It is assisted by 2MP macro sensors and 2MP depth sensors. Of course, users will consider the features offered by FuntouchOS 12, which is still based on Android 11 in this phone.

The Vivo Y75 5G comes with a 5000mAh battery that is powered by a USB Type C port up to 18W. You can also get a side fingerprint scanner for passwordless unlocking. Vivo Y75 5G comes in Starlight Black and Glowing Galaxy color options.

The device is now available on the official Vivo website in India and select partner retailers. The device is priced at INR 21 ($990/€290).
