Narzo 30 Pro vs Poco X3 vs Realme X7: Feature Comparison

The new Narzo 30 series recently hit the Indian shelves in three flavors, the most powerful of them being the Narzo 30 Pro 5G, which is also the only 5G phone in the series. It belongs to the middle segment and offers a very high value for money, but is it really the highest? To understand this, we decided to compare it with two other amazing mid-range models, one of which is equipped with 5G connectivity: POCO X3 from Xiaomi and Realme X7, both available in the Indian market.

Design

If you don't want to have a beautiful phone with an attractive design, choose the Realme X7. You should go for this because it is actually thinner, lighter and more compact than the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G and POCO X3. The aesthetics are very similar to the Realme Narzo 30 Pro, but considering that the Narzo is thicker and larger, it is also less attractive. The POCO X3 doesn't have a great design, but it does offer excellent build quality. Its bezel is made of aluminum and the phone is IP53 certified, making it dust and splash proof. In addition, its front glass is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

Display

Despite the standard refresh rate, the Realme X7 has the best display for a simple reason: it has an AMOLED panel. AMOLED displays are capable of displaying brighter colors and deeper blacks. The phone is also equipped with an in-display fingerprint reader for easier unlocking. The Realme Narzo 30 Pro has a 120Hz display just like the POCO X3, but a higher refresh rate doesn't mean better picture quality. You may get a smoother viewing experience, but the quality of these IPS displays is actually lower when you compare them to the Realme X7.

Technical specifications and software

The POCO X3 NFC is inferior in hardware because its Snapdragon 732G chipset is actually less powerful than the Mediatek Dimensity 800U found on the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G and Realme X7. But the most important difference between the two chipsets is 5G: with the Snapdragon 732G, you don't get 5G connectivity, while with the Dimensity 800U, you do. All phones are based on Android 10 and have a customizable user interface. In addition, they all have up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage.

Camera

On paper, the Realme X7 looks like a device with a better camera. On the back, it has a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a pair of 2MP sensors for macros and depth. Last but not least, a great 32MP selfie shot.

Battery

The POCO X3 has the largest battery, and given that the components are similar to the Realme Narzo 30 Pro in terms of power consumption, it should provide a longer battery life. The Realme X7 has a smaller 4300mAh battery but charges faster thanks to its 65W fast charging technology.

Price

The Realme Narzo 30 Pro is priced at Rs. $ 18 / $ 799, POCO X257 costs Rs. $ 3 / $ 16 and the Realme X999 starts at Rs. US $ 232 / 7. Considering it doesn't support 19G, the POCO X999 isn't the smartest choice for everyone. Realme X273 is for those who love camera and display quality, while Realme Narzo 5 Pro offers longer battery life. In general, the Realme X3 is more interesting (but also more expensive) and wins in comparison.
