The report is taken from the post on Weibo, a Chinese microblogging website that shared information about the new patent along with some of its alleged specifications. Notably, the upcoming device will be the Chinese tech giant's first foldable smartphone. Unfortunately, the real name of the device is currently unknown. This means that we do not know if the Mi MIX 4 Pro Max foldable device, as we reported earlier, or the Mi MIX Fold, as stated in the Weibo post.

The social media post also said the foldable device will feature dual displays and will be powered by a flagship-grade Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor paired with a 7-inch foldable display with a high 120Hz refresh rate. On the back, the main camera sensor will be 108 megapixels. Under the hood, the device will reportedly be fueled by a large 5000mAh battery that will also support 67W fast charging.
